Rubber House I've
been living in my rubber house Been evaluating my life And I know I need
some time Away from my mind And it seems like yesterday
That I was a boy Playing jokes on the neighbourhood Abundance of joy Fallen
down the steps again Think I've broken both of my hands Keeper said I
drank some wine Just enough to take a chance And
it seems like yesterday That I was a man Doing deals for the company
Had a wife on my hand I've no way of tracking time
And it preys on my mind Closest friends seem miles away Though I see them
day after day And it seems like yesterday That
I had a plan Now I sit in this darkened room A gun in my hand I
pick myself up off the floor And with my demons go to war They can't be
trusted any more Open the windows and the doors And it seems like yesterday
That I was like you In control of my faculties My problems I knew
And it seems like yesterday I was just like you Another wheel on the daisy
chain My monsters they grew Copyright ©
